Biofuel (liquid)-based electricity generator (M, R1+R2, AnE)
[18/1 TRB]

The Anand Enterprise Slow Speed Diesel Engine 18/1 TRB CBW system is an electric generator that is run on liquid biofuel (any vegetable oil) and is intented for the powering a family house. The engine used in the system is a Lister CS which is a Diesel engine with indirect injection. This is the reason why most liquid fuels (even vegetable oils) can be used as the fuel source. Gaseous biofuels (biogas, wood gas, ...) can't be used however as spark ignition is needed for this.

This liquid biofuel-based electricity generator is used for medium electricity production (M) and is suitable for people in region 1 and region 2 (R1+R2). Power output is about 15 kW. Note that an alternator is not yet attached to this unit.

Note that electricity production from liquid biofuel can be requested at will/exactly when needed. As such, for effective use of the power, neither a link-up to the mains electricity grid + net metering nor an energy storage system needs to be foreseen.
